Why should I hire a professional dog walker?

It’s healthy for your pet to have some exercise and a potty-break while you are at work. Hiring a professional dog walker gives you the peace of mind that your pet is being taken care of and given individual attention. Plus, you won’t be rushing home because you know your pet has been holding it for eight or more hours. And you’ll have the same person walking your dog each day. We get to know and love your pet as one of our own. We are insured, bonded and Red Cross pet CPR certified.

What does a pet sitter do?

Your dog walker will care for your pets in your home while your gone. You can schedule visits each day for care, companionship, play, exercise, and feeding of your pet. Smaller pets, such as cats, usually need just 1 to 2 visits per day. Dogs may require as many as 4 visits per day.

What makes Pitter-Pat different than my neighbor’s son or daughter?

Pitter pat is licensed, bonded and insured. Our professional staff is trained and all are are certified in pet CPR by the Red Cross. Between the staff, there is more than 30 years of caring for animals. With Pitter-Pat, your pet will have a regular schedule of walks with someone they love and trust. Before we begin our services, we will visit your home to meet you and your pet and get detailed information.

What time of day will you come take care of my pet?

All dog-walks are take place between 11AM and 3PM. We do our best to accommodate specific time requests, and we also available to visit puppies and elderly dogs as needed throughout the day. Need an evening or weekend walk? We can schedule that too.

Will you do weekend visits?

Of course! Anytime you’re away from home, Pitter-Pat can be there for you and your pet. We offer pet sitting visits throughout the weekend as well as overnights stays to ensure that you pet is well taken care of. We’re happy to schedule your regular dog walker, someone your pet knows and trusts, for either service at least 1 week in advance.

What if I need more than one visit over the weekend?

We’re happy to visit your pet as many times per day as needed while you’re away during the weekend, or on vacation. To make your pet more comfortable, we can also provide you with an overnight stay. At your request, our flexible schedule can allow for both an overnight stay and one or more pet sitting visits.

Will you pick up my mail?

You bet! On pet sitting visits and overnights, we’ll also take youtrar trash to the curb, water your plants, and turn on or off any lights in your home.
